Come along and meet Ian Jackson, geologist and author of several bestselling books including his most recent ones ‘Defined By Stones’ and ‘Rocks at the Edge of the Empire’.

If you’d like to discover how reliant our Roman and prehistoric ancestors were on rocky places, this is the walk for you. There are a couple of short steep ascents, but the views and the knowledge gained will be worth the effort!
