    We are offering Festival walkers a pack lunch deal: a sandwich of their choice (egg Mayonnaise, tuna mayo, cheese, roast ham,) a homebaked treat such as a brownie/flapjack/sponge cake, a peice of fruit and a homemade sausage roll. This is available on a preorder basis at £5 per person.

  • Bridge House Bed & Breakfast

  • Centre of Britain Hotel

    This is Haltwhistle’s oldest building, originally a 15th-century Border Reivers’ Pele Tower that has served various roles throughout history.

    The hotel is not just the Centre of Britain it is central to the Haltwhistle Walking Festival. It has 12 well-equipped rooms all with private bathrooms. It is accessible by car, bus and rail and has a private secure car park.

    The restaurant has a varied evening meal menu that caters for all dietary requirements.

  • Featherstone Castle

    Featherstone Castle is only 3 miles from Haltwhistle and features in our 2026 programme.

    An exciting opportunity presents itself if you are a group of more than 10 people, you could consider staying in Featherstone Castle.  It is a grade 1 listed building with parts dating back to the 14th century. The castle does operate as a conference centre and can accommodate up to 76 people; it will however take a booking of more than 10 people. It offers hostel style self-catering accommodation with full kitchen facilities. The rate is £35 per person per night.

    There is also a holiday cottage which sleeps up to 6 people.
