This circular walk takes us from Haltwhistle into Northumberland National Park through areas once occupied by The Romans. There is an excellent view of the course of a vallum before we arrive at one of the most spectacular sections of Hadrian’s Wall near King Arthur’s Well. The walk follows Hadrian’s Wall Path, where there are superb views over the Tyne Valley and The North Pennines and finally descends through a spectacular gorge back into the historic market town.
